Niada and the environment

Throughout our production process, we pay close attention to the management of plastic materials and production waste through collection, recovery and reintroduction into the industrial supply chain.

For the production of blister packs, thermoformed products, trays, containers and displays, we use different plastic materials, including PS, PVC and PET, selected according to their technical characteristics and the specific requirements of each product.

Recovery of production waste

Some of the waste generated by our production processes is sent for recovery through dedicated supply-chain channels.

PET waste is collected and ground. The resulting material is then sold back to our supplier, who reintroduces it into its production process to transform it into new raw material.

PS waste is also collected and sold back to our supplier, where it is subsequently processed for recovery and conversion.

These activities allow PET and PS waste to undergo further processing within the industrial supply chain. A practical approach.

For Niada, environmental responsibility means implementing practical measures in the management of materials and waste generated during the production process.

The recovery of PET and PS waste is one of the measures we adopt in our materials management activities, through collection, grinding and subsequent reintroduction into the industrial supply chain via our suppliers.

We continue to monitor our processes and assess opportunities for improvement in the management of raw materials and production waste, with particular attention to opportunities for material recovery and valorisation.
